OverviewSubreddit for Squaresoft's long-running SaGa series. I recently started playing SF2 and I would be very interested in seeing this translated. However, my knowledge of Japanese (especially vocabulary and kanji) is so minimal that I would be pretty hopeless trying to translate it.Also, it's a huge undertaking to translate a book with over 300 pages. It's even harder to find people to translate it since it basically requires knowledge of the terminology of the game, e.g. Realizing that クヴェル (kuveru, i.e. 'kvell') is Quell (the German word for 'source'-a lot of the names are pronounced like they're German, like 'Jade' yah-deh, 'Laubholz' rowp-holts, 'Weissland' vice-lahnt). It appears that not every term is spelled out in English in the book (though they might be in the 'terminology index,' which I assume is a glossary and which you haven't uploaded) and I imagine we would want the translation to be consistent with the English localization of the game. You might find some willing translators in, though trying to convince people to help you do the entire book will probably scare everyone off.

You could also try asking the users of, but be aware that the subreddit itself isn't for translation requests. Rather, you might find some students or native speakers of Japanese there who would be willing to try translating something. If you CAN find people willing to help translate, I'd suggest giving them each only a page or two at a time so they don't get overwhelmed or burned out (and I don't expect anyone to stick around to do the whole thing anyway). Maybe you can slowly build up an entire translation a couple pages at a time.TL;DR: This is a colossal task and I wish I could be of more help. I would definitely love to see it happen, and thank you for uploading what you have.
ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line application for reading, writing and editing meta information in a wide variety of files. ExifTool supports many different metadata formats including EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, FlashPix, AFCP and ID3, as well as the maker notes of many digital cameras by Canon, Casio, FLIR, FujiFilm, GE, HP, JVC/Victor, Kodak, Leaf, Minolta/Konica-Minolta, Nikon, Nintendo, Olympus/Epson, Panasonic/Leica. Exiftool linux. No ExifTool GUI offers as many features as the command-line application. I don't know what you mean by giving a lens a name. There are various Mac apps based on ExifTool, but I don't know much about them. SetEXIFData sounds potentially useful, but again, it won't be nearly as powerful as the command-line application.
